Dermot is the Regional Superior of Guyana. He was born in the north of England and came to Guyana in 2006 after being engaged in various ministries in the UK and South Africa. He is based in Georgetown.

Michael is the Provincial of the British Province, based in London, United Kingdom. The Guyana and South Africa Missions are part of the British Province.

Medino Abraham
Medino is from Santa Rosa, North West District. He did novitiate in Jamaica, then a year of studies in Trinidad and Tobago. Presently, he is in Brazil doing Pedagogy at the Jesuit University, Unisinos.

Edwin Anthony
Edwin comes from the Karnataka Province in India. He has been doing the first year of his Regency in the Guyana Human Development Centre, Berbice. The second year of his Regency will be spent in Aishalton.

Amar Bage
Amar is from the Ranchi Province in India. He was ordained on 18th January 2006. He is currently co-ordinating patoral ministries in south Rupununi, Aishalton.

Edwin Thadheu
Edwin has recently arrived in Guyana from Madurai Province, India. He is part of the Pastoral Area Team and will be developing young adult ministry and vocation discernment. He is the director of vocations for the region and resides at St Pius.

Bob Barrow
Bob comes originally from north London and after his ordination in the early 60s he was missioned to Guyana. He is now the priest in charge of St Francis of Assisi Church, Barbados.

Eddy Bermingham
Eddy was born in Dublin in the Republic of Ireland and was brought up in the midlands of England. At present, he is the Dean of Studies and lecturer in Philosophy at St. John Vianney Seminary, Trinidad.

Paul C. Jesuraja
Paul comes from South India. He was working in education for many years in the Madurai Province. He is presently the Parish Priest of Diego Martin in Trinidad.

Britto Arockiam
Britto comes from the Madurai province. His first year of Regency was spent teaching Maths at Mercy Wings on the East Coast Demerara. His second year of Regency will be spent in the Pakaraimas.

Gilburt Camillus
Gilburt comes from the Madurai Province where he has been engaged in teaching and has recently received his doctoral degree in English Literature (on Nadine Gordimer!). He is part of the pastoral team in Berbice based in Port Mourant.

Michael Campbell-Johnston
CJ now resides at Mount Street Jesuit Community, London. He was the former Provincial of the British Province and has worked in Rome in the field of Social Apostolate and in Guyana from 1966-1975 (GISRA).

Varghese Puthussery
In 2008 Varghese completed 7 yrs as Provincial in Dumka-Raiganj Prov and has spent the last year in the UK doing a course in Ignatian spirituality in St Beuno's. He now the acting Superior of Rupununi Mission.

Joaquim de Melo
Joaquim comes from Goa. After teaching in schools he came to Guyana 9 years ago and has been engaged in parish ministry. Presently he is the Priest co-ordinating the pastoral ministries in north Rupununi, St. Ignatius Lethem.

Jerri Melwin Dias
Jerri comes from the Karnataka Province. He entered the Society on 16th Jan, 2000. After a year teaching in St Stanislaus College in Georgetown and working in Aishalton he is doing the second year Theology in London.

Tony D'Souza
Tony came from the Mumbai province in the early 1970's and has been working in many of the ministries of the Region in the North West and in Georgetown. He is presently co-ordinating the ministry in Berbice, Port Mourant.

Derrick Maitland
Derrick was born in the UK and worked for 40 years in pastoral ministries in Berbice, the Northwest and the Rupununi. He is presently back in the UK and part of the Jesuit Community in Boscombe.

Ronnie Fernandes
Ronnie is a newly ordained priest from Karnataka. He came to Guyana and worked for a year in Berbice. After 4 years of Theological stuides in London and California, he is now back in Georgetown to begin his pastoral ministry.

James came from the Karnataka Province two years ago after having worked in spirituality and formation for many years. He is now based in Plaisance as the Parish Priest of 6 parishes on the East Coast Demerara.

Raphael Gonsalves
Raphael hails from the Cathedral Parish in Georgetown. He spent his Novitiate in Jamaica and then studied Philosophy in Trinidad. After a degree in Film and Media Studies at LCC,he is now back home for regency.

Marlon Innis
Marlon comes from the Essequibo district of Guyana. Having studied in Jamaica, the Philippines, London and Boston, he is back in Guyana and ordained as priest recently. At Present, he is part of the Pastoral Team, Ad multos annos, Marlon!!!

Peter Britt-Compton
Britt was born in the UK and was missioned to Guyana in the early 1950's. He has spent most of his time working in the Guyanese interior and for the last 26 years has been in the Rupununi district. At present he is in Aishalton. At 92 Britt is the oldest man in the Region!

Stephen Patterson
Steve is originally from Oldham in England. He was a professional Rugby League player and an electrician before he joined the Jesuits! Following formation and work in Britain, Steve completed Theology in Madrid and was ordained priest in Nov 2008.

Paul comes from Crosby in England. He studied Theology in Brazil and then spent 12 years as Parish Priest in the north Pakaraimas. Presently he is based in Karasabi, south Pakaraimas.

Compton is one of the local Guyanese Jesuits. After various pastoral ministries on the Coast and in the Northwest, he is now Guestmaster for Arrupe House and is engaged in ministerial duties.

Wilson Moras
Wilson is a new Regent from the Karnataka Province. He begins his second year of regency teaching full-time at the Mercy Wings Educational Centre in Georgetown. Wilson edits the regional newsletter ´guyjest´.

Rajan has recently arrived in Guyana, he comes from the Madurai Province. Presently, he co-ordinates the Catholic Magazine-a weekly TVpgm and resides at Arrupe House.

Paul comes from the Andhra Province where he worked for many years as a writer and director in the spirituality apostolate. After a sabbatical year in Berbice, Paul is now working with the pastoral team in north Rupununi.

Justin hails from the Madurai Province. After initial formation in India he spent a year teaching at Saints,GT. He is now studying theology at the University of Javeriana, Bogotá in Colombia.

Malcolm Rodrigues
Malcolm is a Guyanese Jesuit who was ordained in 1973. Over the years he has been active in various ministries. He is presently the superior of Arrupe House and is also involved in conservation projects in the Iwokrama.

Anil Tirkey
Anil is a Ranchi Jesuit from India and arrived in Guyana three years ago. He is presently the Minister of Arrupe House and engages in a wide-range of pastoral ministries in the Georgetown area.

Ramesh comes from the Karnataka Province. He spent two years of Regency at the St. Pius X Parish Residence and as well as assisting in the parish, he taught PE at The Marian Academy. He is now in the 2nd year of theology at Heythrop College, London.

Godfrey comes from Enmore on the East Coast. After initial formation in the Caribbean he spent two years in pastoral ministry in north London and he is now in the final year of Theology at Heythrop College, London.

Paulose Vellacada
Paulose is from Kerala and worked for many years in missions in the hinterlands of the Karnataka Province. His experience in social development projects is now being applied to his pastoral ministry among the Amerindians of the Pakaraima Mountains based at Kurukubaru.

Vikram comes from the Karnataka Province and following study in philosophy, he did his Regency in Berbice and then at the Catholic Standard. He is now in the final year of Theology at Heythrop College, London.

Aloysius Church
Aloysius worked for 40 years in Guyana in various roles as co-ordinator for Catechesis, parishes & TV programmes. At present he resides at the Jesuit Community in Preston, UK.

Gabriel Xess
Gabriel arrived last year from the Ranchi Province. He established a series of Jesuit schools among the tea-pickers in the Assam region of NE India. He is now the Acting Superior and Co-ordinator of the Apostolic work across the Pakaraimas.
